Eat your belly fat away

We all go through times where we feel "fat" around our stomach.  No matter how many crunches we do, we still have that fat hanging on to us. People have always said "abs are made in the kitchen" which is very true, but many of us don't know the right foods to eat that will help us achieve a sexy waistline.Today I will be showing you 10 different foods that I eat that helped to melt my belly fat away in addition to waist training.


The first food is Chili peppers. Anyone that knows me knows that I love hot sauce. I can't eat rice, chicken, fish without hot sauce. it speeds up my metabolism and helps me maintain my flat stomach. I eat hot sauce so much that I got nicknamed "hot sauce".



The second food is Almonds. I usually put Almonds in my cereal and use it with different recipes like the no bake brownies. Recipe video is in the video section on the site. Almonds are rich in mono-unsaturated fatty acids like oleic, and palmitoleic acids that help in lowering LDL or "bad cholesterol" and increasing HDL or "good cholesterol" in the human body. Don't forget to soak your Almonds for minimum 8 hours so your body can access the nutrients.

 The third food is Papaya.  I love this fruit. it is so refreshing and it quenches your thirst. Papaya contains the digestive enzyme, papain, which helps with digestion.

The 4tth food is Banana. A day doesn't go by that I don't eat atleast 2 bananas. Banana is a staple in my diet. I eat banana so much that it rubbed off on my son Malik. Malik loves Banana as much as i do, he is always getting teased by his sisters, they call him a monkey because he loves his bananas. packed with potassium bananas are a great weight loss food because they are high in fiber.


The fifth food is Avocado. Avocado is one of the fruits that is jammed pack with nutrients. it keeps you full longer so you eat fewer calories for the day. it is packed with fiber and so many more mineral and vitamins that are great for your health. The sixth food is Apples. I am not going to lie. I use to not like apples until recently. What made me fall in love with Apples was when I went to a wedding a couple of months ago, the take home gift was caramel apples. I  had 2 caramel apples within a day. Since I am always looking for an healthier version to everything, I found a recipe that use dates, coconut oil and vanilla extract to make the caramel. I will be doing a video of it soon. Apples helps to control weight, boost your immune system and many more.


The seventh food is Quinoa. Quinoa is a source of complete protein. protein keeps you fuller for long which means less calories are been consumed. substitute your rice with Quinoa. There is a video in the video gallery that shows you 4 recipes of how to incorporate Quinoa into your diet.



The eighth food is Spinach. Spinach is one of my favourite food. I use it in my smoothies, cook it etc. there is a Nigerian native food called 'Efo riro' ,it is my favourite spinach dish. Spinach is packed with Vitamin K, A and many more. if you want to get the most nutrient out of your spinach, cook it for a minute and drain, that will get rid of the oxalate acid.

The ninth food is Ginger. Ginger is a natural diuretic which reduces bloating, gas etc. Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of "stomach problems," including motion sickness, morning sickness, colic, upset stomach, gas, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), nausea, nausea caused by cancer treatment, nausea caused by HIV/AIDS treatment, nausea and vomiting after surgery, as well as loss of appetite. I love drinking ginger tea with turmeric and molasses. 

 Last but not the least is Alkaline water. I drink Alkaline water everyday. it helps to boost your metabolism and help your body absorb nutrients more effectively. it helps your body buffer acidity, which leads to better health and fitness and  flatter stomach.


All the food listed above all have a main nutrient in common , which is Fiber. Fiber is great for regulating your digestive system. Include this foods in your daily diet and you will be on your way to a flatter sexy tummy.
